We have an eclectic crew. A mixture of vegan and gluten free and food allergies. This place had something for everyone. The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic. We cant wait to go back.

The food is always excellent! Every course is comfort food, and plentiful! Great flavors. Imaginative menu with great variety. Service is always good. The restaurant is comfortable and friendly.

Excellent menu options, dining room decor, service and, of course, our meal. Will definitely return!

First time trying this BYOB Italian restaurant at the Jersey Shore. The food did not disappoint and very reasonably priced.

If you are looking for an Italian-style restaurant that can meet any food mood or preference, MonAlysa is where you should go for eat-in or take-out. I have eaten from here several times and the best experience is in-house, but the take-out was hot, carefully prepared, and delivered in the time frame promised. There is a wait because meals are prepared fresh. The hot antipasto is a favorite and can be a meal. Salads are always fresh and I have ordered a variety of entrees from Veal Saltimbaca to Subs to pizza, never disappointed in my selection. Close to the beaches in Point Pleasant and Bay Head, check thrm out!

First thing to note is that this eatery is a BYOB. Consider how much you will save compared to a restaurant selling you a $12. bottle of wine for $35. (then add tax and tip to that). Second thing to note is that MonAlyssa is rather small, seats around 40 in dining room. It is popular, so better reserve a table especially on weekends. Dining room has a pleasant ambiance and nice selection of music playing. We dined here early, 5 pm, last evening. It was during Jersey Shore Restaurant Week, which is an opportunity to explore new places. We were glad that this special deal brought us to MonAlyssa where we enjoyed 4 course meals: appetizer, salad, entree, dessert for $40.23 each. Samantha was our very attentive and friendly server. The specifics of our dinners may not be relevant to you readers because these may have been special items for Restaurant Week. But, I will say that everything was delicious, especially entrees of Shrimp and Scallops Alla Rabe and Salmon Peperone. This was our first time dining at MonAlyssa. We will certainly be back.

Delicious food. We shared crispy tender crunchy fried calamari for appetizer, brought our own favorite wine from home. I had flounder francais w angel hair on the side. There was a nice fresh salad of spring mix first. Our waitress had everything under control, friendly, prompt, nice and attentive. A little expensive but I really enjoyed my meal and the service. It is on the side of a simple pizzeria that you walk through to get to the dining room. Parking in front free. It was crowded. Pleasant atmosphere, nice crowd, festive atmosphere. I hope to go back :)

We were so happy with our restaurant choice! Friendly and attentive servers and an intimate area for us to talk so we didn't have intrude on other diners. They bring you bread and butter which was nice and wIt's bring your own bottle here so I opted to bring a red. I had a salad and a shrimp dish - delicious! Also if you check in on yelp you get 10% off your meal (you can sign up in advance for their email newsletter and you will get this as well). The other dish was grilled chicken with beans which we ended up taking 1/2 back and having it for lunch the next day! I recommend it for a local Italian place.
